Every Girl / Young Lady who plays or participates in football at
RUGBY TOWN GIRLS FC
and / or associated organised activities should be able to do so in
a safe and enjoyable environment and be protected from any form of
mental [including racism], sexual verbal or physical abuse.
It remains the responsibility of
RUGBY TOWN GIRLS FC
and it's adult representatives [Club Officials, Football Coaches,
Volunteer Helpers] to safeguard at all times the welfare of the girls
/ young ladies in their charge. This will include any physical, sexual,
emotional harm, neglect or bullying.
No
form of abuse will be tolerated by
RUGBY TOWN GIRLS FC
and if proven or at the discretion of the
RUGBY TOWN GIRLS FC
, the perpetrator(s) will be excluded immediately and as required,
reported to the authorities.
At the request of
RUGBY TOWN GIRLS FC

All persons in contact with young female club members must be willing
and able to declare (personal Disclosure Form, Appendix 10) that they
have no convictions and / or cautions relating to any offences related
to any form of abuse.
Upon request of
RUGBY TOWN GIRLS FC
all adult representatives must be prepared and willing to have submitted
personal details validated by the appropriate authorities. Failure
to comply with
RUGBY TOWN GIRLS FC
request will result in instant exclusion from
RUGBY TOWN GIRLS FC
RUGBY TOWN GIRLS FC
will undertake to always have a Child Welfare / Protection officer
who will be a female and a member of the full Club Committee. Her
roles and responsibilities are too include all aspects of child welfare
in connection with girl / young lady
RUGBY TOWN GIRLS FC
members.
