Rugby Town Girls FC under 14s have been crowned champions of the Leicester City and County Girls Football Premier Yellow League with 1 game to go. With Leicester the only team that could match the points the under 14s have but lost today at Loughborough 2-1. Rugby now go into there final home game on Tuesday 6th May 08 KO 6.30 as champions and fiiting enough playing last seasons league champions Oadby. Well done to all the team for a brillant season and also collecting the under 14s league fairplay award.

Can we also add a thank you from Francis, Jason and J to the great support by text and emails flying in from parents and other teams in the league over the last 24 hours. Sunday evening MSN lit up with the team and other members of the club online and that is why this club is here for all girls to come along to enjoy and learn football at Rugby Town Girls FC and the smiles all round the team make it worth it after a long and tough season.
