U9s Fixture Games Report

Saturday's fixtures against GNG Girls and Birstall United proved to be a real showcase for the girls' growing confidence and team spirit.

Despite the poor weather conditions, the under 9s demonstrated some great teamwork and unselfish play. A rapid first goal in the first 2 minutes against GNG girls spurred the girls on to a 4-2 win.

Although the game against Birstall United was much harder and ended with a final score of 6-1 to Rugby's opponents, the girls played out of their boots and stayed focussed and positive to the final whistle.
