Rugby Town FC U10s kicked off their new season this week against a newly formed East Goscote United U10s side.
Rugby had 11 players to choose from and East Goscote could only manage 6, so lots of substitutions and stoppages in the game which ended with Rugby having the upper hand.
Apart from this, I have to acknowledge the East Goscote girls never gave up or stopped trying right to the very end, even if the odds were heavily stacked against them most of the time, each one of them was a credit to this newly formed team.
Our girls played really well as a unit and coped with the many team changes and formations with out getting out of their stride, so well done everyone, especially to the newcomers of the team who all had great debuts. We look forward to training on Friday evening & next Sundays home fixture.
