Star of the week this week was awarded to Olivia, Millie, Norah, Sophie, Bella, Esme, Molly, Ellie!
This week I couldn’t just choose 1 person for star of the week as every single girl did excellent. They all listened well when I needed them to and took on board everything I had to say. In previous matches our downfall has been strength both on and off the ball so this is what we worked on this week. It was quite tricky to get the hang of how to be strong when fighting for the ball and defending the ball but all the girls took it inn their stride and worked hard until they had got it perfected.
This was soon put into practice as they played one of our U10 teams for the last 30 minutes of training, this was tough for the girls as the U10s are bigger and stronger but the girls stood their ground and didn’t give up.
The girls are really improving every week and this is starting to show in their matches.
