Sunday 5th October
On a blustery afternoon with wind going across the pitch making conditions tricky we played our toughest opponent to date.
With Rugby Borough riding high In the platinum league we changed to a more defensive formation hoping to keep in the game. We started well and more than held our own the first half with the woodwork being struck multiple times, the defence making vital challenges and keeper making some fantastic saves.
We started to tire in the second half and the opponents experience started to show through although the girls fully battled to the end and were a credit to the club. Our group of girls have a great attitude towards the game and always play with a smile on there face. All in all it was a great performance without the result but we couldn’t be prouder of the girls
