The girls swapped training this week for an away match against Corby girls.
With only 7 players it meant every player had to play every minute. Olivia continued in goal and made several important saves. Ellie and Jasmine started in defense and coped well against some tricky forwards. Sophie, Esme and Annabelle had to cover the midfield and never stopped running, when Erin chased down and hustled the Corby defenders.
The first half ended even after the girls fell behind.
The second half the girls increased their work rate and took control of the game. Their performances are improving week by week and they are developing into a formidable group of girls.

Today’s players of the game awards went to Ellie for her strong tackling and Esme who proved to be decisive up front with some clinical finishing.
