Sunday 4th September
This week saw our U10s open their season against Oadby and Wigston away. The girls were all excited to be back out on the pitch together and worked harder than ever.
The girls are taking to 7 a side really well and looked comfortable in the extra positions on the pitch. Over the summer the girls have been working hard on their link-up play and passing. This was demonstrated well throughout the game.
Rugby midfield worked hard both attacking and defending and helped out our solid defence well.
Our strikers this week worked well at finding the spaces up front and finding gaps for our midfielders to play some great through balls. It was lovely to see the girls working together as a team with huge smiles throughout.
Parents player- Olivia for some great saves in goal and some fab balls forward from defence.
Managers player- Millie for tireless work in midfield and taking some strong tackles well.
