This Sunday saw the Lionesses play there third competitive game. We had a squad of 9 for the game which was tough going in wet and windy conditions against a team from Harborough Wildcats who had a maximum squad with a couple of star players. We started the game well with a few players starting in new positions. We had a really strong second half with improvements all over the pitch.
Supporters Player – Paula, was putting into practice what we had worked on in training both attacking and defending down the wing, Goalkeeper Phoebe also played well with a string of excellent saves in goal. Maximum effort was put in by all the girls, its great to see them getting more confidence with every game
