On a lovely autumn morning we traveled to Loughborough with a smaller squad than expected. However this didn’t dampen the girls spirits. As we were only able to field 7 players, there was an opportunity for some players to try new roles.
In the first half we battled hard against a strong opposition and more than matched them for chances with some good wing running and well worked corner routines.
In the 2nd half tiredness crept in but the girls heads didn’t drop and they kept making big challenges. The girls really came together when they were short of numbers and put in a really good performance that they can be really proud of.
